Only when G was back and with the help of the local people which made up a good chunk of your gang we saw some opposition - whether you asked them or not is irrelevant.
Making a camp of alot of people waiting for *us* to jump into is not very agressively, but rather very defensive.
In my opinion IRON alone is not a powerful alliance. However, together with their allies they make up a nice power block.
The majority of IRON that came back was taking a break because of the south until AFTER new year, because we were tired (p.s. alot of us were still stuck in the south and/or pod jumping back to the south to help get gear out and assisting G, as ju- was still unimportant at that point). And since BoB spent most of the time in Ju- mining and their numbers were down for the most part, it wasn't really a big deal for us to take our break. You guys knew we wouldnt start seriously fighting until after the new year. Atleast your spies should have known that. I think perhaps you thought we'd only muster 30-40 people or something, i dont think you expected that we would bring out a good 100 pilots at some point when it was go time. Unfortuantely, we decide how effective and aggressive our moves need to be, not you.
I'm suprised you havnt figured out what those big camps were for.. but none the less.. they were planned.. and they had their reasons and worked quite well, for aslong as we could hold them. I know I'd get tired of logging in and still seeing 60 people on the map on the otherside of the gate and then having to log off again.
The issue with the residents coming to the fights, well, so what. If they joined IRON then you wouldnt have brought that point up, and the results would have been the same anyways, they still would have fought. Anyhoo, shouldnt go into a battle expecting it to be even numbers, have to go into a battle expecting to be blobbed to heck by everyone possible pilot who probably doesnt care much for your(a) particular alliance.
And oh noes, buddrow always tells us to wake up. That's nothing new.
Anyways, just had to counter you and tell you I disagree wtih you 95% as you felt the need to come and do it on this type of post.
Anyways, now that that has been explained, lets keep it going with the civilized thread. Don't bother trying to re-counter me because I rarely read threads twice =)
